About The Position

Responsible for maintaining inventory, locating material for production orders, and preparing finished stock for shipment. The Driver is responsible for the delivery of finished product, parts and materials to customer locations. Requirements

  • Current and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record – MVR check is required
  • Ability to be self-motivated and works well independently
  • Good organizational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • 1+ years’ inventory management experience
  • Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs, crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work long hours.
  • This position works outdoors year-round and therefore subject to all weather conditions, sometimes to include extreme cold and heat.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
  • Maintains in-process inventory
  • Kitting materials for fabrication assemblies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Identify and accurately pre-package loads utilizing the shipping report
  • Load and secure materials on trailers for shipment
  • Deliver loads to job sites utilizing a truck and gooseneck trailer
