About The Position
The Materials Gatekeeper monitors production lines, inspects product quality, and maintains strict food safety standards.
Requirements
- General knowledge and use of basic math and computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively on a daily basis.
- Must read and speak English.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- Ability to be pallet jack certified.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing procedures a plus.
Responsibilities
- Observe rotating assemblies and equipment to ensure steady product flow.
- Inspect items visually to meet specific grade and packing rules.
- Maintain equipment and storage zones in clean order with general housekeeping, sweeping, and light scrubbing.
- Follow USDA rules and company food safety guidelines.
- Receive and ensure correct materials are scanned.
- Accurately record all material movements with scan gun and paper documentation.
- File and properly archive paperwork to ensure accurate PO receiving.
- Maintain proper supply of materials to prevent downtime.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.
