About The Position

This role is for a Materials Designer III in Beaverton, OR, for a duration of 13 months. The position is hybrid, with onsite work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays. The role involves in-line work for SB, partnerships, and signature and core products.

Requirements

• 5+ YOE in Creative Footwear Material Design
• Bachelors or equivalent experience
• Experience working on multiple segments of a line
• Interest or knowledge in Skateboarding, sneaker culture, or streetwear
• Portfolio: Examples of recent work, come in with ideas for the SB brand, shows taste level and approach to the project, shows process of design - successes and failures

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of Leathers, canvases, uppers, synthetics, wovens, and meshes.
• Bonus - footwear trims
