Materials Coordinator

HindlePowerEaston, PA
Onsite

About The Position

HindlePower has been designing and manufacturing industrial battery chargers and DC power systems for the utility industry for over 35 years. Our products serve power generation and distribution, substations, switchgear OEMs, oil and gas, and transportation maintenance facilities. We are the leader in our industry, with customers in all 50 states and around the world. As a Materials Coordinator, you'll make sure the right material is in the right place at the right time. It's a role that lives in two worlds: the system side, where you're managing purchase orders and inventory transactions, and the floor side, where you're receiving, staging, and getting parts to the people building product. If you like a job where you're not stuck at a desk all day, this is that job.

Requirements

  • Background in shipping, warehouse operations, materials coordination, or logistics in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience using an ERP system for inventory and shipping transactions.
  • Exposure to inventory control practices like cycle counting and material staging.
  • Forklift experience. If you have the hours but not the certification, we can handle that.
  • Strong attention to detail. Inventory accuracy is the whole job, and a bad transaction shows up three weeks later on the floor.
  • Comfortable in a system, keeping data clean and accurate.
  • Problem solving and the judgment to know when something is off.
