This position will be based on site in Sherwood (Regina) on a 14/7 rotation with 10 hour shifts.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in materials coordination, inventory management, logistics, procurement, or construction operations.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, or project tracking tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and material specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Diploma, certificate, or post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience supporting industrial, commercial, civil, or infrastructure construction projects is preferred.
  • Experience working in a construction site environment is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and movement of construction materials to project sites.
  • Review project schedules, drawings, and material take-offs to identify material requirements.
  • Work with project teams to forecast material needs and establish delivery schedules.
  • Monitor material availability and proactively address potential shortages or delays.
  • Coordinate the return, transfer, or disposal of excess materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for materials, tools, and consumables.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Track material usage and provide inventory reports to project management.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials on-site and in warehouses.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests as required.
  • Schedule and coordinate material deliveries with suppliers, transportation providers, and site personnel.
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders, packing slips, and project requirements.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and damage.
  • Resolve delivery issues, shortages, or discrepancies with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure materials are delivered and stored in accordance with project schedules and site requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, procurement teams, and project personnel.
  • Support supplier performance reviews related to delivery reliability and material quality.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective service.
  • Assist in obtaining quotations and sourcing alternative materials when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, receiving reports, inventory transactions, and material transfers.
  • Update material tracking systems and project databases.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, material consumption, delivery performance, and cost variances.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and project requirements.
  • Ensure materials are stored, handled, and transported in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in site safety meetings and inspections.
  • Identify and report material-related safety concerns.
  • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives through waste reduction and material management practices.
