Bowhead seeks a Material Coordinator at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) and Marine Corps Security Battalion (MCSBn) logistics department. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities include coordinating the physical flow, staging, tracking, and protection of critical production materials, specialized tools, and fleet repair parts, while synchronizing data with physical warehouse activities. The role involves organizing, positioning, and staging high-value sub-assemblies and hardware in strict compliance with command operational requirements and shipyard production timelines. The Materials Coordinator will physically support the offloading and loading of specialized technical hardware from naval vessels and transportation vehicles, ensuring continuous chain-of-custody tracking. Responsibilities also include updating internal Inventory Tracking Systems (ITS), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), or Oracle/SAP architectures, and actively resolving material shortages, transit damage, or component entry errors to safeguard audit readiness. The role requires enforcing exact inventory segregation and specific safety profiles for specialized components, including hazardous material (HAZMAT) control and technical line-item separation. Planning and executing comprehensive physical audits, cycle counts, and component location verifications in accordance with localized military policy are also key functions. Other duties as assigned.
