Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of proven experience.
  • Knowledge of working in an FDA-regulated environment using Good Document Practices.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, work independently, and solve problems quickly.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods, including walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory control and/or within a life science company is a plus.
  • Experience using handheld scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or lean tools is preferred.
  • GMP experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, examine, sort, arrange, count, store, pick, and pack items for storage and/or shipment.
  • Use an inventory management system for data entry, sample tracking, and sample management.
  • Compile data and prepare reports.
  • Prepare and file routine documentation.
  • Maintain quality metrics.
  • Participate in process improvement activities.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks.
  • Work in and out of +4°C, -20°C, and -40°C walk-in cold rooms/freezers.
  • Handle materials and specimens stored at temperatures down to -196°C.
