At HonorBridge, our mission is to build connections that save and heal lives through organ and tissue donation. Every successful donation depends on the people, supplies, equipment, and processes that ensure our clinical teams are ready when the opportunity to save lives arises. We are seeking a Materials Control Technician to support the critical behind-the-scenes work that makes donation possible. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, mission-driven, and interested in making a meaningful impact in healthcare without providing direct patient care. As North Carolina's largest organ procurement organization, HonorBridge partners with hospitals, transplant centers, donor families, and communities across the state to facilitate organ and tissue donation. Every role at HonorBridge contributes to a mission that transforms lives, and the Materials Control Technician plays an essential part in ensuring our clinical teams have the equipment and supplies they need when every minute matters. This position works a weekend mid-shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 2:30 AM. The Materials Control Technician is responsible for maintaining inventory, managing medical supplies, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, monitoring laboratory equipment, supporting facility operations, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role serves as a vital link in the donation process by ensuring clinical teams have immediate access to the equipment, instruments, and supplies needed to support organ and tissue recovery. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, accountability, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
