About The Position

Kohler Co. seeks Materials Control Managers - AFO for its Sheridan, Arkansas location. This role is responsible for the overall management and control of all materials within the Arkansas Faucet Operations (AFO) plant. The position involves leading a team in executing best practices, measuring performance, and providing operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity. The responsibilities encompass materials management functions for both inbound and outbound components and finished goods, including administering raw materials/components, warehousing, storage, inventory control and accuracy, supermarket operations, material flow, Kanban, JIT, kitting processes, and on-time material feeding to production. The goal is to meet the company's operational execution, fulfillment, and working capital objectives. Additionally, the role involves designing and analyzing the overall material flow, conveyance, and intra-logistics strategy to maximize process efficiency and productivity, optimizing inventory storage, availability, and delivery to production. A key aspect is the development and sustainment of a Plan for Every Part (PFEP).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Engineering Management or related field.
• 9 years of experience in the job offered or in a Materials Control Manager-related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Optimizing inventory storage, availability, and delivery to production.
• Development and sustainment of a plan for every part (PFEP).
