About The Position
Eaton South Bend is searching for a Materials Attendant Specialist to join our team. Materials Attendants are responsible for the packing, visually inspecting, and shipping product for and to South Bend’s customers. These professionals play a very integral part in being South Bend's last line of defense for product quality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of South Bend, IN will be considered for this position.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate traditional, precision and BCT cleaners.
- Move material using forklifts.
- Schedule, load and unload trucks.
- Sample weigh parts as required.
- Clean and organize area as required.
- Determine acceptable quality by using visual inspection techniques and precision equipment.
- Operate the shot peen equipment and package parts for shipment.
- Perform all necessary PMs.
- Able to perform basic math functions.
- Maintain and control inventory. Perform computer inventory transactions.
