The Materials Associate is responsible for processing transactions accurately and timely related to the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, returned goods from customer departments, stock replenishments, and the filling of customer orders. This role utilizes a management system, PC, and RF scanner technologies for transaction processing. The associate will review and verify all documentation for thoroughness and accuracy, operate powered and non-powered equipment safely, and transport and store goods to prevent damage. This position supervises the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies, ensuring they are handled, stored, and maintained in a secure environment. Non-functional equipment and supplies are to be removed from service and reported for corrective action. The associate will also inspect working and storage areas, maintain clean and orderly conditions, and work safely in compliance with all department, System, and OSHA safety regulations. Completing daily inspection checklists for powered equipment is also a responsibility if required by the department.
