About The Position

The Materials Associate is responsible for managing the receiving, inventory, and shipping of materials. This role involves working with an inventory management system, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. The associate will also handle package shipping and disposals, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any material-related issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift
• Closed-toe shoes required
• Discretion is required due to potential access to confidential materials.
• Regular communication with supervisors and team members is required.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience (Preferred)
• Forklift operation (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Receive all shipments within 24 hours of delivery, checking expected arrivals and adding parameters.
• Receive shipments in VeraCore (inventory management system) and assign location(s).
• Review Product Backorders to determine quantities and locations for receiving.
• Print a placard for each receipt.
• Work with Materials Coordinators to put away receipts per placards in warehouse locations.
• Unload and sign for shipments.
• Communicate via email with CSRs/Service/Office regarding materials not in the system.
• Merge/Move Units Physically and in VeraCore.
• Assist in cycle counts and resolve cycle count discrepancy issues.
• Work with the Fulfillment Assistant Manager when necessary to move products in VeraCore.
• Ship packages via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
• Handle disposals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Keep the office informed of any inconsistencies or issues that may arise.
• Maintain staging bins (labels, locations, etc.), set up parameters, and keep the area clean and organized.
