About The Position

This position will ensure timely receiving of materials. The purpose and scope of this role is to process orders to meet production needs, re-stock incoming parts, and process material transfers. The role also assists in the maintenance of parts inventory control, maintains all shipping materials, and performs visual quality assurance checks to ensure high-quality parts shipments. Additionally, the Materials Associate I is responsible for the timely processing and shipment of Aftermarket orders, maintaining sufficient shipping materials, identifying and selecting merchandise from stock, and preparing items for shipment. The role requires reading and understanding pick slips for accurate parts inventory maintenance and inspecting products for correct size, quantity, and color before shipping. The associate will also determine the appropriate shipping container size, type, and format to prevent product damage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have basic computer skills experience.
• Forklift license

Responsibilities

• Process orders to meet production needs.
• Re-stock incoming parts and process material transfers.
• Assist in the maintenance of parts inventory control.
• Maintain all shipping materials (i.e. cardboard, tape, etc.).
• Maintain high quality of parts shipped by performing a visual quality assurance check.
• Maintenance of high-quality parts shipments.

• Maintenance of sufficient shipping materials.
• Identify and select merchandise from stock and prepare items for shipment.
