Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. The Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City F117 Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) supports the U.S. Air Force C17 fleet. The Material Analyst will be responsible for tracking parts to include the identification of any part shortages by engine module to ensure that the production schedule is met. Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift with occasional over-time hours/weekend days due to business needs.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree
  • 2 years of logistics, supply chain, or MRO experience
  • 2 years of SAP experience
  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts

Nice To Haves

  • 1 + years experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • The ability to work in a start-up environment with flexible roles and responsibilities, limited formal training and firm deliverables
  • Prior material scheduling experience in an aerospace Maintenance Repair & Operations environment is preferred
  • 2 years experience in retail supply, material, or supply chain management
  • Experience participating in teams to achieve successful results
  • Demonstrated commitment to Environmental, Health and Safety regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to the F117 HMC Operations department, ensuring all required parts are kitted and ready for assembly by the scheduled dates
  • Support Gate 1 - 4 (engine disassembly), (engine repair), (engine assembly), and (engine test) by facilitating the shipment of external repair parts, storage of serviceable parts, and review of scrap parts, sourcing parts from stock, swapping parts from engines in work, and tracking external repair parts, releasing completed engine build kits to the assembly cells, monitoring the assembly cells for late part requirements, and reporting part shortages to Operations and by providing direct support to the engine test cell for any in process parts needs
  • Required daily use of SAP software to track serviceable parts, source replacement parts, issue purchase orders, and perform production order reconciliation
  • Required daily use of Microsoft Office for scheduling, reporting, and internal communications. May be required to create products related to monthly business reviews
  • Attend and be prepared to brief at daily production meetings, update weekly and monthly statuses for materials, and be able to talk to specific issues within the HMC
  • Participate in continuous improvement events to improve the HMC organization and support achieving CORE objectives
  • Coordinate with a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company to ensure parts movement and kitting follow the production schedule and standard work
