Material Warehouse Worker - 3rd Shift / 9:30pm to 6:00am / Sunday to Thursday
About The Position
As a core member of our production team, you will be responsible for the proper warehousing of raw materials to support the manufacturing process. You will also act in support of the recycling and disposal of corrugated waste and garbage generated through daily production. You will be trained to receive packaging and ingredients, as well as production material set up. Additionally, you will review the BOM’s to ensure they are accurate and complete when supporting the manufacturing floor. You will be dedicated to the QCDSM process, adhere to SQF guidelines, and support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety. Requirements
- Flexibility of schedule
- Able to work some overtime as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Problem solving (analysis and resolution) skills required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- Must be willing to be trained and use the yard tractor as needed
- Possess strong mathematical and logic skills
- Good housekeeping skills
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Responsible for following all safety procedures
- Must be willing and capable of receiving a forklift license
- Computer skills – willing to learn Outlook and CIMPRO
- Commitment to living Perry’s “values” required
- Willing to learn and adhere to Department specific SQF requirements
