About The Position

As an Impreg Helper, you will be working with multiple types of resin systems and composite materials. You will be learning the job of an impreg technician doing a variety of different tasks such as resin infusion, chamber assembly, vacuum checks, leak checks, demolding, loading parts into ovens, completely transactions in the system and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma
No experience required
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and speak English
Must be able to lift 45lbs.
Must be able to wear all required PPE.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in both hot and cold conditions.
Must be able to work around different types of resins and composite materials.
Must be able to work around chemicals and solvents such as acetone, releasing agents and various cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

Perform the resin infusion process.
Assemble chambers.
Perform vacuum leak checks.
Read and monitor vacuum gages.
Use of temperature probe/infrared temperature guns.
Use of overhead crane.
Operate ice blasting machine.
Load oven.
Remove parts and resin from chambers.
Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment.
Sweep and mop as needed.
Maintain 5S standards.
Clean and replace temporary floor as needed.
Follow all work procedures for the area.
Comply with all safety and company policies.
Adhere to QHSE protocols and actively participate in contributing to our growing QHSE culture.
