This role is an hourly position within our team leader reports to the Material Supervisor.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experiences a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Support the Materials Team – Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and provide guidance to material handlers to ensure production needs are met.
- Manage Material Flow – Ensure materials, parts, racks, and containers are delivered to the correct production areas on time.
- Monitor Inventory – Maintain accurate inventory levels and help identify and resolve shortages, discrepancies, or misplaced materials.
- Ensure Safety and Quality – Make sure team members follow safety procedures, proper material-handling practices, and company quality standards.
- Communicate with Production and Management – Communicate material shortages, production needs, staffing concerns, and other issues to supervisors and management and help coordinate solutions.
