About The Position

The Material Stocker III is responsible for storing, issuing, and moving a variety of materials and products. This role involves frequent lifting of boxes (3-45 lbs) off pallets, maintaining and verifying inventory, and supplying parts for production lines. The position also requires operating material handling equipment, potentially disassembling, sorting, repairing, and salvaging products. Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality and quantity of work, assisting in training other associates, and flexing into production lines as needed. Accuracy of inventory records and the quality of work are essential. The role also emphasizes maintaining a neat, orderly, and safe work area, and may involve planning daily line schedules and leading a cell in the absence of a team leader. Identifying and implementing improvement ideas in the work area is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • Associate must not have been awarded a job through a posting in the previous six (6) months. (Exceptions to the 6-month time limit may be considered if circumstances beyond the control of the associate caused a shift change or demotion or based on business needs. In addition, associates seeking a higher labor grade may apply without waiting 6 months.)
  • Associate must not have been removed from or voluntarily stepped down from the same role in the preceding 6 months.
  • Associate can have no written disciplinary warnings within six (6) months of the posting date.
  • Associate cannot have less than 17 UTO hours.
  • Associate must be able to work 8+ hours per day and 40+ hours per week.
  • Associate must meet all the minimum qualifications outlined on the job bid.
  • A 90-day probationary period applies to all job postings.
  • Associate submits an application through Workday prior to the posting deadline.

  • TEMP associates can bid and will have the opportunity to become permanent based on their performance.
  • TEMP associates can bid but will only be considered if the roles are not filled by current Moen Associates.

Responsibilities

  • Stores, issues, and moves a variety of materials and products.
  • Frequently lifts boxes (3-45 lbs) off pallets (6 inches off floor to chest level) and/or VGV’s.
  • Maintains and verifies actual inventory and materials being handled.
  • Supplies parts for a line(s) and transports material through the plant as needed.
  • Operates a variety of material handling equipment to move material throughout the plant.
  • May disassemble, sort, repair, and salvage a variety of products.
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced.
  • Assists in training other associates.
  • Flexes into the line as needed.
  • Ensures accuracy of inventory records and quality of work.
  • Responsible for a neat, orderly, and safe work area.
  • May plan and organize the execution of daily line schedule, including leading cell in team leader’s absence.
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing improvement ideas in work area.
