We are GAF. And under this roof, we protect what matters most. Job Summary The incumbent will have the primary responsibility for transporting finished goods to the outside storage area. It will be the responsibility of the incumbent to achieve excellence in executing the assigned inventory storage plan. The scope of this position includes driving for a complete 12 hour shift, the potential to unload product, the potential to load product, and the ability to count/verify product hauled out during the shift, and any additional duties assigned by management within the scope of this job description.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally; face to face, over the phone, and in writing.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work alone for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work on a rotational shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Transfer finished goods from the production line to outside storage areas.
  • Product must be stored in an orderly manner without damage; any damage will be reworked and recorded at the time of the incident.
  • Product must be counted accurately and recorded on a daily production haul out sheet.
  • Work safely. Safety will be top priority at all times. Wearing proper PPE at all times, and following proper safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Forklift safety rules, policies and procedures must be followed at all times including: checking out the lifts daily according to the checklist, reporting all repairs needed, keeping the lifts clean, and keeping the lifts fueled for the oncoming shift.
  • Assist in all areas of the Logistics operation as assigned by management.
  • Perform housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, bagging, and labeling.
