As a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Controller Intern at United Launch Alliance you'll gain hands-on experience and will have the opportunity to learn: * Planning, scheduling, and monitoring the efficient movement of material from identification of the requirement to delivery to the end user. * Managing and actioning exception messages to maintain schedule adherence. * Define raw material scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules. * Performing tasks for incorporating engineering change activities. * Monitoring and reconciling any relevant Supply Chain disruptions that develop throughout the program lifecycle. * Developing strategies, implementing plans, and tracking progress for cost savings initiatives. * Creating and maintaining valid plans for material and capacity planning. * Validating and converting planned orders to Production Orders or Purchase Requisitions. * Ensuring converted orders are completed on schedule. * Balancing supply and demand, performing initial hardware impact assessment, assigns, distributing and tracts tasks. * Leading and managing projects assigned by leadership to accomplish organizational objectives. Interns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which help them build a strong network within the ULA community and with fellow interns!
