GSCM is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) who will be responsible for managing Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) activities that support both ANTPY-2 Development programs, and ANTPY-2 Sustainment programs. The MPM will serve as the interface between Supply Chain and the Program working on development and sustainment contracts.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Program and/or Project Management role
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with MRP systems, including SAP
  • Experience as a program/project manager

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing material strategies, material forecasting, small business forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule requirements are met, evaluating metrics to monitor GSCM health, supplier assessments, and development/support of ROMs/proposals.
  • Develop and execute Material Program Plans, Subcontract Management Plans, and other strategic planning tools
  • Develop Small Business Strategy across programs
  • Maintain material delivery schedules to MRP commitments
  • Support financial management reviews using Earned Value Management through the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain functions for support, as needed
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues
  • Forecast material sales and meet commitments
  • Lead efforts in budgeting and financial management
  • Obtain MPM certification level 4 within 1 year of hire
