RTX Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) with demonstrated project management skills who will be closely accountable for ensuring supplier performance. You must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program goals, and able to successfully interface with varying levels of management. The MPM is accountable to overall supplier management, performance and success and is the interface between Supply Chain, the Program Office/Integrated Product team (IPT), supplier, and other functions working on various contract lifecycles. This role is responsible for executing supply chain strategies and ensuring organizational and program objectives are achieved. This opportunity is for an MPM within the ASDS portfolio, DAPS business unit in Tucson, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have project management skills and be directly accountable for ensuring overall execution of materials management. Key responsibilities include supplier material management, material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule and quality requirements are met, supporting Estimate at Completion (EAC), creating and managing metrics to monitor GSCM health, supplier engagement activities, successfully managing competing priorities, and acceleration activities. The MPM will have the opportunity to lead projects, manage budgets, and resolve issues and conflicts. Our supplier network spans small to large businesses, IOT (Interorganizational) partners, and major subcontractors that manufacture high-level assemblies, a range of commodities, and materials varying in complexity. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you must be able to possess excellent time management/prioritization skills, strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), and the ability to work well in a matrixed IPT environment.
