About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Material Planning Coordinator in Wayne, NJ for an approximately one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support material planning and control activities, including tracking hardware through the repair process, monitoring material requisitions and schedules, and maintaining accurate material movement information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Secret clearance required to start.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Familiarity with material planning responsibilities, including material tracking and movement of hardware throughout a facility.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Oracle.
• Previous experience supporting material planning activities.
• Some college education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support material planning and control functions and assist with moving hardware through the repair process.
• Use YORK (Your Online Repair Knowledge) to accurately track hardware as it moves through factory areas.
• Prepare and monitor material requisitions and schedules.
• Maintain engineering specifications and track material movement across purchasing, warehouse, and production functions.
• Create and generate reports covering material plans and schedules.
• Utilize Oracle MRP systems to support material planning activities.
• Provide general administrative support and assist with the implementation and interpretation of applicable administrative policies and procedures.
