About The Position

As a Material Planning Coordinator (MPC), you will support the THAAD factories on the NHQ Campus in South Nashua. The position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to work in a fast-paced supply chain environment. The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task, learn quickly, and collaborate effectively with others. Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of this role, work will be conducted on-site 100% of the time on a 4x10 weekly schedule. This is considered a 1st shift position with a preference for the hours to overlap 2nd shift.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years related experience in material/production control
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, ability to prioritize and multitask, and have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Good work ethic and able to work independently.
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years related experience in material/production control
  • Possess a Secret Clearance
  • Experience in Oracle, PLM and Paperless Systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage the internal flow of materials, kits, and manufactured hardware to support manufacturing schedules and operations commitments
  • Execute kit releases, material movement support, and documentation maintenance to ensure smooth manufacturing processes
  • Manage the 2 Bin System including replenishment of stock via bin cards, cycle counting, auditing of inventory levels, and updating min level requirements to align with changes in the Seeker build rates
  • Maintains job progress and status records and notifies supervisor and/or customers of impending delays or serious difficulties affecting commitments
  • Prepares special reports on orders and status as required
  • Anticipates or responds to material shortages due to lost, damaged, or defective material in order to prevent work stoppages in area of responsibility
  • Maintains accurate records by updating applicable systems which provide regular reports on the status of product to the Supply Chain Planner
  • Ensures that engineering change orders affecting parts and material are incorporated into products by effective date
  • Oversee and train junior personnel as required
  • Proficient in all applications of Oracle, ERP, Paperless, Dataview, SharePoint, Iportal, PLM as well as Microsoft Excel and Outlook to accomplish daily tasks
  • Actively participates in cycle count activities in the factory
  • Actively participates in the establishment of Point of Use Material in the factory
  • Leads Root Cause Corrective Action with all functions to prevent part shortages from recurring
