Requirements

• Detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize conflicting tasks.
• Candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes customer demand material requirements and orders material from suppliers and schedules material to be built on the production floor.
• Works directly with Suppliers and other Magna plants on material requirements.
• Reviews materials planning for the product groups assigned, issues purchase orders to suppliers, sends forecasts, and daily tracking of inbound material ensuring on time arrival.
• Establishes relationships with suppliers, holds supplier meetings, effective communication reviewing open purchase orders and delivery schedules.
• Participates in daily production meetings to communicate current inventory levels, schedule compliance, and other operating parameters.
• Analyzes production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identifies and escalates production issues that may impact production output or quality.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes and reduce costs.
• Prepares management summary reports and trend charts detailing department key efficiency operating indicators.
• Analyzes data to determine statistics, trends, measurable, etc. and acts as required.
• Facilitates positive working relationships between all support staff garnering a team environment.
