About The Position

Responsible for material planning, building inventory balance, releasing purchase requisitions, and monitoring depletion, with the goal of reducing aged inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
  • Major in supply chain.
  • 1 year experience with supply chain (inventory planning, scheduling & procurement) or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft software.
  • Good sense of data, dedication with data analysis, ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent planning ability.
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Understand procurement process and logistic concepts.
  • Must be able to possess a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably degree from accredited college.
  • Prefer knowledge of PLEX/ SAP/ Oracle MRP function.
  • Knowledge of Fuyao internal manufacture workflow.
  • Knowledge of Fuyao policy/ management/ safety manual.
  • Knowledge of Supply chain/Material Planning strategy.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 for Class A&B&CD OEM planner.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing raw material reserve planning.
  • Responsible for releasing material purchase requisition (PR) and following up on PR execution.
  • Responsible for arranging raw material arrival schedule according to production schedule and monitoring inventory level to keep turnover day balance.
  • Responsible for monitoring raw material depletion to comply with First In First Out and pushing aged raw material consumption.
  • Responsible for reviewing sales orders and processing whether raw material can meet demand.
  • Responsible for organizing engineering material changes (when necessary, such as supply-side changes).
  • Responsible for ensuring daily work complies with work instructions and reaches Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Responsible for handling emergencies, such as urgent procurement and disqualified batches.
  • Other duties as assigned.
