About The Position

Heron Power is a startup building power electronics for the electric grid, including converters that connect large-scale renewables, storage, and loads to the grid. The Material Planner owns the flow of materials needed to keep Heron Link builds on schedule, ensuring parts are in the right place at the right time—on site, kitted, or shipped to suppliers, contract manufacturers, and rework partners. The role works closely with Supply Chain, Design Engineering, NPI, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams to track purchase orders, identify risks early, and maintain accurate inventory records as operations scale. Heron Power describes its work environment as dynamic and collaborative, with an emphasis on first-principles engineering, solving difficult problems, and shared learning. The scope and responsibilities of the role may grow with the right candidate.
