About The Position

Motus Integrated Technologies is seeking a Material Planner for a development-focused opportunity in its automotive manufacturing operation in Holland, Michigan. The role is intended for someone with a foundation in material planning, production control, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain who is ready to grow into a well-rounded supply chain professional. The planner helps ensure the right materials are available at the right time so production can build quality products and fulfill customer commitments. The position provides exposure to how customer demand drives production requirements and supplier schedules, and to the risks that can disrupt production. The Material Planner works with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Quality, Shipping, Receiving, and Customer Service to manage supplier relationships, inventory, shortages, launches, engineering changes, and other daily supply chain challenges. Plex ERP experience is highly preferred, though candidates with a suitable supply chain foundation, analytical ability, curiosity, and willingness to learn are also encouraged. The role offers progressive ownership and exposure across the supply chain organization. As capabilities develop, the planner may take on more complex suppliers, higher-risk materials, launch activity, inventory initiatives, and cross-functional projects. The development goal is to build the ability to independently manage supplier schedules, anticipate supply risks, influence supplier performance, and understand the links between customer demand, inventory, production, and cost.
