This position is responsible for keeping extrusion lines supplied with the correct materials for each process. Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Trained as an Authorized Employee in Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) and follow all LOTO rules and regulations.
High school graduate or equivalent GED certification.
Must be self-motivated and have good organizational skills.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating instructions and procedure manuals and manufacturing terminology.
Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports.
Ability to follow and understand verbal instructions.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to other employees of the organization and respond to questions.
Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percentages to practical situations.

Responsibilities

Keeping extrusion lines supplied with the correct materials for each process.
Checking all work orders/specification sheets for specific work instructions.
Producing accurate mixes for each extrusion line.
Accurately completing all paperwork as required by ISO, GMP, HACCP.
Operating Railcar unloading system.
Producing labels for material bins, gaylords, and cartons, ensuring accuracy of labels and contents.
Assigning lot numbers according to the ISO procedure.
Operating all color feeders.
Ensuring all materials are covered/protected.
Accurately preparing daily mix logs.
Operating Powered Industrial Vehicles: Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks.
Operating material grinding systems.
