About The Position

This position is responsible for keeping extrusion lines supplied with the correct materials for each process. Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Trained as an Authorized Employee in Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) and follow all LOTO rules and regulations.
  • High school graduate or equivalent GED certification.
  • Must be self-motivated and have good organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating instructions and procedure manuals and manufacturing terminology.
  • Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports.
  • Ability to follow and understand verbal instructions.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to other employees of the organization and respond to questions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percentages to practical situations.

Responsibilities

  • Keeping extrusion lines supplied with the correct materials for each process.
  • Checking all work orders/specification sheets for specific work instructions.
  • Producing accurate mixes for each extrusion line.
  • Accurately completing all paperwork as required by ISO, GMP, HACCP.
  • Operating Railcar unloading system.
  • Producing labels for material bins, gaylords, and cartons, ensuring accuracy of labels and contents.
  • Assigning lot numbers according to the ISO procedure.
  • Operating all color feeders.
  • Ensuring all materials are covered/protected.
  • Accurately preparing daily mix logs.
  • Operating Powered Industrial Vehicles: Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks.
  • Operating material grinding systems.
