About The Position

This will be a 2-year international assignment in Miesau, Germany with additional compensation emoluments. Raytheon Global Patriot is seeking a Material Management Specialist (MMS) to support Ukraine Patriot operations. The role involves managing parts and inventory across multiple storage locations, including requesting, ordering, tracking, and issuing material. It also includes creating procedures for inventory visibility, supporting the development of shipping documents, and providing transit visibility. The specialist will manage shop stock and electronic records of inventory levels, locations, procurement status, shipments, and returns. They will also create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory needs, manage purchase orders ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, and ensure proper receipt recording. The role requires monitoring requirements for stockage and control based on demand data, managing operational float stocks, inspecting supported units for supply performance, and providing technical guidance to personnel. Periodic inventories of stock items will be conducted, and recommendations for changes to the Authorized Stockage List (ASL) will be made. The specialist will also ensure failure events are recorded by documenting non-conformances and train co-workers in MMS supply procedures.

Requirements

  • Must possess basic computer skills and have supply/maintenance experience.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5+ years’ experience.
  • Experience with supply procedures
  • Experience with standard operating procedures
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Patriot supply chain experience.
  • The ability to adapt and perform additional tasks with little or no supervision, as a team member.
  • Familiarity with Raytheon supply chain/maintenance procedures and terminology.
  • Computer skills in ALCS, UNIX, SAP and Windows operating systems.
  • Enhanced knowledge and experience with military logistics and supply chain systems.
  • Previous experience in International Patriot Programs and living and working in an overseas location.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team member/customer environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage parts and inventory across multiple storage locations, including requesting, ordering, tracking and issuing material in support of Ukraine Patriot operations.
  • Create procedures to track inventory visibility across multiple supply systems, support the development of shipping documents, and provide transit visibility of the same.
  • Manage shop stock and electronic records of inventory levels, locations of stock, procurement status, shipments, and returns to include R&R efforts.
  • Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory needs.
  • Manages the performance of purchase orders ensuring compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures, import/export regulations, and employs sound business practice.
  • Ensures that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics organization so that proper receipt is recorded.
  • Monitors requirements for stockage and control based on accumulation of demand data.
  • Controls management of operational float stocks to ensure compliance with customer policy.
  • Inspects supported units to ensure supply performance standards are being achieved.
  • Provides technical guidance to personnel of supported units/activities to assist, establish, and maintain adequate stockage levels for mission requirements.
  • Conducts periodic inventories of stockage supply items, initiates action for disposition of excesses and makes recommendations for changes to the Authorized Stockage List (ASL) based on observed needs.
  • Ensure failure events are recorded by documenting all non-conformances.
  • Ability to train co-workers in the MMS supply procedures.
