About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team. This position will be based at our Colorado Springs, CO facility. The hours for this position are 7 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 minimum years of experience
  • Previous shipping/receiving experience required
  • Ability to facilitate effective communication between departments and resolve minor conflicts
  • Troubleshoot reoccurring issues and suggest process improvements
  • Coaches others on safety practices and participates in safety initiatives
  • Verifies complex inventory transactions and supports cycle counts
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily
  • Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Possess a valid driver’s license to drive company truck (no CDL required)
  • Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly

Responsibilities

  • Prepare product for shipment and perform necessary transactions in SAP.
  • Verify incoming material receipts and perform necessary transactions in SAP.
  • Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations.
  • Accurately perform SAP transactions ensuring data integrity and workflow efficiency.
  • Independently cover materials responsibilities with minimal to no supervision, ensuring continuity and reliability in operations.
  • Properly execute shutdown and startup procedures for material handling equipment ensuring safety, compliance and operational readiness.
  • Correctly clean dryers between resin changes to prevent cross-contamination and maintain material quality standards.
  • Correctly clean hopper magnets and perform proper change-out and cleaning of surge bin filters.
  • Understand when and how to properly pull resin samples for lab testing, ensuring accurate quality control and compliance with material standards.
  • Perform water spider duties as assigned, ensuring timely material replenishment and support.
  • Effectively navigate key business systems including SAP, ETQ, SumTotal, MES and Workday to support operational, quality and HR-related tasks.
  • Coordinate scrap truck pulls and manage scrap collection materials as required, ensuring timely removal and proper handling of production waste.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the correct materials and dryers are prepared in advance for upcoming production orders.
  • Mentor and support team members by sharing knowledge, reinforcing best practices and promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities; specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety.
  • Supports inventory control in conducting weekly cycle counts, delegated inventory tasks, and adhering to implemented process improvements.
  • Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Picks, processes, closes and stages or delivers orders to work centers.
  • Utilizes Reach Truck, Fork Truck and WAV mobile equipment safely and effectively to support daily company and department objectives.
  • Performs scheduled issues and picks of requested components/materials, additional parts, reservations, resupply materials, and consolidates and delivers work order materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.
