About The Position

Perform tasks related directly to the receipt, warehousing, control, packaging and issue/shipment of manufactured products and vendor acquired material and supplies. This role involves various aspects of material handling, including reclamation, inventory management, and receiving processes. The individual will be responsible for accurate documentation, adherence to safety procedures, and compliance with ISO standards. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Able to read and write the English language.
  • Consistent high standards of housekeeping and strict adherence to quality standards for both product and services.
  • Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical.
  • Dependability with flexibility to work shifts, over-time, and weekends to support business needs.
  • Capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.

  • Personal experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Picking up pieces of graphite, measuring them, and weighing them.
  • Repetitive lifting and reading a ruler and a scale.
  • Documentation of measurements and material specifications, recording information on a form.
  • Move graphite into and out of manufacturing cells as required.
  • Follow instructions on production orders to ensure graphite is moved through the proper process.
  • May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.
  • Issue material to production orders through SAP transactions.
  • Determine material to be issued to the production order.
  • Certify material as required.
  • Responsible for cycle counts of semi-finished goods bins, finished goods bins, blocked stock, and bins at the warehouse as required.
  • Maintaining count of inventory of goods.
  • Receive goods in from vendor and purchase parts.
  • Act as internal logistics to move products and material around the plant.
  • Receive and process direct and indirect raw materials and make appropriate SAP transactions.
  • Process return Materials (RMA) through SAP transactions.
  • Distribute finished goods as appropriate.
  • Operate forklift and turret truck.
  • Receive qualified material into warehouse and process through SAP transaction.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization.
  • Understands, supports, and complies with ISO Policy, Procedure and Work Instructions.
  • Complies with all safety requirements, and maintains order and cleanliness of Warehouse premises.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area and wears required personal protective equipment.
  • Performs duties in a safe manner, observes approved safety procedures, and communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor or EHS.
