We are currently recruiting for the position of Material Handler for our Ogden, UT location.

Requirements

  • Warehouse, material-handling, or forklift experience required.
  • Forklift operator experience: 1 year (required)
  • Standup/Sitdown Forklift experience
  • Reach Lift experience
  • Stock Picker (Cherry Picker) experience
  • Forklift certification or ability to successfully complete company-required forklift training.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to accurately enter and track inventory movements in a WMS.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to identify products and follow designated storage and placement requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-directed, dependable, and motivated.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position safely and effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old, where required by applicable law or company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and/or similar warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.
  • Unload incoming shipments and load outgoing shipments.
  • Retrieve and transport products to assigned locations within pallet racking.
  • Replenish inventory and move products throughout designated warehouse areas.
  • Identify products to be selected, sorted, stored, or placed.
  • Follow designated aisle and storage specifications for product placement.
  • Accurately enter and update assigned tasks and product movements in the WMS.
  • Maintain accurate inventory placement and minimize mis-picks, shortages, and product damage.
  • Inspect products and pallets for visible damage and report issues as required.
  • Keep aisles and pallet-racking areas clean, organized, and accessible.
  • Place empty pallets in designated areas.
  • Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, pallets, racks, and other warehouse activity.
  • Follow all company safety policies and equipment operating procedures.
  • Promptly report workplace hazards, damaged equipment, spills, and injuries.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
