About The Position

The Material Handler reports to the Materials/Stockroom Manager and supports production needs including inventory control to kitting product for manufacturing. Job responsibilities include accurate counting, good record keeping, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent required
2 Years of Experience Material Handling
Computer skills and experience using ERP systems
Ability to count parts accurately and input data accurately.
Strong understanding of First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory method
Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures
Familiarity with production environment
Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Fork Truck/ Crown Experience
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite (Syteline) a plus

Responsibilities

Select parts from inventory and prepare kits for manufacturing to build.
Count, receive and put away parts into inventory using designated locations.
Perform stock transfers.
Fill stock requisitions.
Perform cycle counting.
Review expired lots with Material Manager.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and inventory integrity by adhering to manufacturing practices and procedures.
Understand and follow general safety rules and company policies and procedures, including ISO procedures.
General housekeeping to keep the work area clean and organized.
Other duties as assigned.
