The successful candidate will join our Leidos team in a warehouse environment to help manage assets. This may include scheduling, planning, tracking, shipping, and dispositioning, in addition to performing preliminary package inspection for any apparent external damage and notifying the shipper at the time of delivery if damage is detected. Verifying packages for shipment type (Purchase Order or Field parts returned for repair). For Purchase Order items, verifying the Purchase Order document to the part received and then notifying the ordering individual of the received parts. Updating and maintaining the department receiving files. Maintaining the warehouse physical organization and cleanliness. Supporting periodic warehouse inventory activities. Interfacing with management to resolve any problems or discrepancies that may arise with orders. Developing a level of expertise via cross training of coworker functions to fill in for position absences.
