About The Position

Thales has a vacancy for a Material Handler to provide material handling, inventory, warehousing, and shipping/receiving support to the site. This role is responsible for the movement of materials throughout THALES property, including receiving, transporting, stacking, staging, shipping, cycle counting, inventory control, replenishment, and maintaining stock records in the warehouse. The Material Handler will also be responsible for transfers of material between three warehouses, providing timely and adequate supplies to operations areas in both THALES production facilities, and maintaining proper levels of needed materials and supplies to ensure no interruption to production. Additionally, the role requires maintaining FIFO on all production materials, organizing and cleaning warehouse spaces, following security procedures for shipments, acting as a security escort when needed, participating in cycle counts and year-end inventory counts, processing inbound and outbound shipments in the Oracle ERP system, and coordinating with external partners for courier shipments and 3PL warehousing. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to be certified on forklift and pallet jacks.
• Ability to plan ahead and utilize time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Detailed and accurate counting abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of shipping systems (FedEx, UPS, LTL) and ERP (Oracle).
• Minimum one-year warehouse experience.
• LEAN manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Movement of materials throughout THALES property.

• Organize, clean and adjust material positions within the warehouses as needed.

• Participate in regular cycle counts and year-end inventory counts.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments for entry into Oracle ERP system.
• Coordinate with external partners for courier shipments and 3PL warehousing.
• Other duties as assigned.
