Material Handler - 1st Shift
About The Position
Endries International Inc. has openings for a Forklift Operator/Material Handler on 1st shift. The primary goal is to move product to the shelves and/or stage it at the lanes so we can get it out the door and to our customers on time. Previous forklift experience is required. This role involves managing inventory, maintaining and inspecting forklift equipment, identifying damage and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies, and assisting with cycle counting. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift and potentially stand for the entire shift.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to potentially stand for the duration of 8-10 hour shift
- basic math, reading, and writing skills
Responsibilities
- Manage Inventory utilizing RF scanner equipment
- Maintain and inspect forklift equipment
- Identify damage and report any shortages or quality deficiencies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift
- Assist with cycle counting
