About The Position

This position involves pulling or picking finished orders from one department to another to finalize the products based on the work order instructions. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse production setting.

Requirements

Ability to follow work order instructions.
Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction.
Use of a calculator is available.
Ability to communicate verbally with team members.
Ability to hear forklifts operating and its horn and beep while reversing.
Near visual acuity, ability to read fine print while using a computer for 6 hours.
Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds for 6 to 8 hours.
Ability to push or pull 40-60 pounds for 6 to 8 hours.

Nice To Haves

Keyboarding ability for 2 to 4 hours.
Ability to perform fine manipulation motions.

Responsibilities

Pull or pick finished orders from one department to another to finalize products based on work order instructions.
Follow work order instructions accurately.
Practice all safety precautions while pulling inventory.
Move boxes or bins of products from one department to another.
Maintain speed and accuracy in order picking.
Ensure Kanbans (scheduling system for Labeling and Filling) are full at all times.
Communicate with supervisor if Kanbans cannot be filled.
Use of Stock picker on a daily basis (training will be provided).
Use of pallet jacket.
Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Adaptability to shift or hour changes.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
