Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • An understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as independently.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
  • Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time; free range of motion.
  • Wear appropriate safety and personal protective equipment according to the function being performed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage pick ticket orders from warehouse staff and management.
  • Physically pull inventory from the shelves to ensure accurate delivery of warehouse products.
  • Pack orders – including shrink wrapping contents onto pallets.
  • Stage loads for fork truck operators to load onto trucks for delivery.
  • Ensure orders are accurate and records of inventory are kept up-to-date for a smooth flow in warehouse operations.
  • Manage pick ticket orders.
  • Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure that orders are accurate.
  • Stage items correctly for delivery, and load delivery vehicles as necessary.
  • Operate handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed.
  • Plan and monitors product storage and dispatch.
  • Oversee stock replenishment.
  • Monitor stock control systems and processes specific orders.
  • Ensure warehouse goals are met.
  • Maintain a high level of health and safety standards.
  • Shrink wrap products to pallets, and pack warehouse orders as necessary.
  • Operate scanners to ensure that the proper order is picked, and inventory is managed accurately.
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.
