About The Position

The material handler is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of shipping, receiving, and picking. This role involves loading outbound shipments, unloading inbound shipments, picking orders, and preparing products for shipment according to client requirements. The position requires the use of proper documentation to ensure accuracy in all handling processes.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to operate MHE
• Basic computer skills
• RF scanners
• WMS functions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.

Responsibilities

• Loading outbound shipments via forklift or using other material handling equipment, move product, and stack products or materials.
• Efficiently and accurately load orders according to the appropriate doors and trailers.
• Unloading inbound shipments, moving product, replenishing product, stacking and storing products or materials.
• Efficiently and accurately locate and place products in appropriate storage areas.
• Accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
• Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, label products as determined by client requirements.
• Use proper documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
