Requirements
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Able to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure
- Punctual and excellent attendance
- Be available for overtime and emergency work
Responsibilities
- Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process
- Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule
- Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting
- Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products
