This role is responsible for performing routine and repetitive tasks within food production or warehouse departments. Accuracy in counting and packing is essential, potentially occupying the majority of the workday. The position requires attention to detail for correct and complete order fulfillment, the ability to read production labels in English, and responsibility for accurately packing orders. Material handlers will work across various departments including assembly, prep, ovens, beverage, fulfillment, and pack-out, supporting any area as needed to meet business demands. Maintaining the pace of the team and production flow to meet KPIs is crucial. Tasks may include racking products, deboxing/decanting materials, assembling food products and meals, and breaking down boxes. Participation in changeovers, counting, packing, sorting, staging, line work, basic sanitation, and prepping is expected. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a food-safe environment by complying with food safety policies and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) through a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation. The position also emphasizes establishing a culture of respect, hard work, consistency, and effective communication. Good attendance and punctuality are required and closely monitored through a point system.
