About The Position

The Material Handler provides customer-responsive and efficient manufacturing support at Cornerstone Building Brands. The role involves completing work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and on time without causing damage; assisting coworkers and customers; inspecting materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment; supporting inventory management, including daily ERP system updates; maintaining an orderly work environment; and moving inventory within and between workstations and areas. The position requires compliance with safety requirements and use of applicable personal protective equipment. The job is based at 1913 Hutchings Ave., Ballinger, TX 76821. The shift is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the base pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
A combination of education and experience may qualify.
Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

Provide customer-responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities.
Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and timely, without damage.
Assist coworkers and customers.
Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment.
Assist with inventory management activities, including daily updates to the ERP system.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Assist in moving inventory within and among workstations and areas.
Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
