About The Position

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual who enjoys operating in a dynamic, fast paced environment and can meet the proactive and reactive challenges of supporting the operations to join our Materials team as a Material Handler. The Material Handler will perform a variety of tasks associated with inventory control and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures. This is a 2nd shift position: Monday - Thursday, 4:15pm - 2:45am

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Experience in materials, shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• Experience with material packaging and kitting.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, tuggers, and overhead cranes to safely move materials, tools, fixtures, and equipment throughout the facility, including performing daily equipment inspections.
• Deliver materials, tools, and fixtures to production cells while maintaining accurate inventory, proper storage, and completing SAP transactions for receiving, shipping, inventory movement, and material kitting.
• Provide administrative support for shipping, receiving, and material kitting operations, including maintaining inventory records and processing documentation.
• Assist with inventory management and material movement to support production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Follow all safety policies, standard work practices, and housekeeping requirements to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Work overtime as needed and perform physical job duties, including standing, walking, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds while using ergonomic lifting devices as required.
