About The Position

The Material Handler moves materials to support manufacturing needs and, when not operating a forklift, loads and unloads products. The role uses standard stand-up reach trucks and/or sit-down forklifts to move inventory to machine operators across work centers, supports shipping and receiving, maintains inventory accuracy, and tracks inventory and shipments in the Plex Warehouse Management System. The associate is expected to work independently with minimal direction, manage daily activities to meet production schedules and company objectives, identify and address problems, and collaborate with fellow associates. First shift hours are 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Requirements

• Hold or obtain forklift driver certification.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of reach truck experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in a Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory to machine operators at various work centers using a standard stand-up reach truck and/or sit-down forklift.
• Load and unload products when not driving a forklift.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Maintain accurate inventories.
• Use the Plex Warehouse Management System to track inventories and shipments.
• Work independently with minimal direction to meet position objectives.
• Manage daily activities to meet production schedules and other company objectives.
• Identify problems and implement practical solutions with minimal direction.
• Work as a team with fellow associates.
