Material Handler - 1st Shift
About The Position
This role is responsible for various material handling tasks within a manufacturing plant shop environment. Key duties include managing goods issues, performing cycle counts, releasing work orders, and physically moving products. The position requires the ability to operate a Hilo and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and earplugs in designated areas. The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and various elements common in a manufacturing setting like odors, hydraulic fluids, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years related experience in inventory
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and as a team
- Attention to Detail
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs. consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
