About The Position

The role of the Material Handler is to properly assemble boxes for the assembly department and ensure and allocate the right products for the shipping process.

Requirements

Able to perform well under pressure and adapt to change easily.
Demonstrates organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to accurately identify colors and shapes.
Ability to perform basic Mathematical skills and ability to read and understand measurements.
Ability to walk and stand for an 8-hour shift.
Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
Able to work overtime, including Saturdays if needed.
Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions (appropriate footwear).

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with the supervisor regarding the priority of the boxes that are needed daily/weekly.
Retrieves merchandise and other items as assigned.
Sorts and places boxes by order number/customer.
Opens and closes boxes.
Assisting assembly area during the day with proper product distribution when necessary.
Keeps all sensitive matters confidential.
Other duties as assigned.
