About The Position
The Material Handler performs a variety of duties involving handling and movement of material. Packaging, unpacking and preparation of materials being received, shipped to/from customers/vendors, as well as stockroom activities. Skilled in the use of software programs such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Math and computer skills are essential
- Prior stockroom experience required, preferably in the electronics field
- Good communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating a forklift a plus
Responsibilities
- Handles delivery of materials throughout the Company
- Loads and unloads vehicles inbound and outbound
- Use of specialized packaging equipment like paper machine, form-in-place, heat seal, etc.
- Data entry to update various databases
- Perform stockroom activities like material receipts, material issues, cycle counts
