About The Position

All Weather Architectural Aluminum, voted "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay Business Journal for six years in a row, is a custom window and door manufacturer located in Vacaville, CA, established in 1969. We have an immediate opening for a second shift material handler. This role performs a combination of material handling tasks including receiving, shipping, inspecting, locating, and transporting materials. The position supports inventory accuracy through material tracking, counts, and organization, and assists with packaging and staging products for production or shipment in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.

  • 1-2 years of related warehouse, material handling, inventory experience, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling practices.
  • Basic computer and data entry experience

  • experience using an ERP or inventory system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, locates, stages, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Uses the ERP system to accurately track material movements, inventory locations, quantities, and transactions.
  • Counts, weighs, verifies, and records materials; assists with cycle counts and other inventory accuracy activities as assigned.
  • Identifies damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and shortages and promptly communicates or records issues for resolution.
  • Picks and stages materials for production, packaging, shipping, or other designated areas based on work requirements.
  • Assists with loading and unloading materials onto and from trucks, racks, pallets, trays, and other containers using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas using equipment such as an overhead crane, hand truck, forklift, and/or electric dolly.
  • Supports packaging operations by preparing, protecting, labeling, and securing materials or finished products for storage, internal movement, or shipment.
  • Assists with inventory organization, including maintaining orderly storage locations and replenishing materials as needed.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment and follows established safety, quality, and material-handling procedures.
  • Participates in quality and process improvement efforts and completes required inventory, shipping, receiving, or packaging documentation.
  • Performs other related material handling, inventory, packaging, and warehouse duties as assigned by management.
