The Material Handler at our Nicholasville, KY location involves working collaboratively to with the Industrial Solutions Machines area to move, organize, and locate sheet-metal parts an innovative team orientated environment. This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Requirements

High school degree, GED, or equivalent experience required
Ability to operate a forklifts of various makes and models
Strong communications skills for interdepartmental efficiency
Previous experience with managing multiple tasks with a shift

Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating a forklift
Previous experience with RF reader or other ERP systems

Responsibilities

Work and drive safely, observing all EHS rules
Knowledge of and ability to process paperwork such as route sheets, picklists, etc.
Ability to read, understand and utilize route sheets, picklists and blueprints
Ability to operate an RF Scanner to locate parts
Ability to organize parts by job order per the work instructions
Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently
Material Handling and Transportation of Product
Perform other tasks as directed
Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required
Active involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen events
Must be able to work scheduled overtime hours
Assist other departments as assigned
